Job Description

Glens Falls City School District has an opening for a district-wide Building Maintenance Worker. This is a 12-month position with benefits. Working hours will vary. 

Our Maintenance Workers keep Glens Falls' school buildings and grounds in top condition to ensure full and productive use of district facilities. These valuable staff members promote the safety, health, and comfort of students and employees in school buildings and on grounds by maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance and repair projects.

You should join our GF Nation team if you:

• Have a working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment, and the ability to use them economically and efficiently
• Have the ability to make minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical repairs
• Can understand and carry out basic oral and written directions
• Get along well with others
• Have the willingness to perform custodial and other manual tasks
• Are known for your thoroughness and dependability!               

Job Qualifications

Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

Six months of experience in building cleaning or minor maintenance activities.
