Glens Falls City School District has an opening for a School Security Monitor at Glens Falls Middle School. This is a full-time, 10-month position.
Duties Include:
Hallway Supervision: Communication with team and administration.
Perimeter & Access Control: Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to secure all entry points, Monitor parking areas.
Mealtime Oversight: Supervise the cafeteria during lunch periods to maintain order, assist with student needs, and manage cleanup transitions.
Recess & Playground Monitoring: Observe outdoor activities to prevent injuries or bullying, ensuring students play safely and remain within designated boundaries.
Document safety violations, maintenance concerns, or behavioral incidents accurately for administrative review.
Emergency Response: Assist school leadership during safety drills (fire, lockdown, etc.) and provide immediate support during medical or security emergencies. Administrative
