Job Description

The Glens Falls School District is currently accepting applications for a Full Time School Bus Driver.  At GFSD, we are a dynamic and inclusive school community focused on the success of all students in achieving graduation by fostering diverse pathways and providing a multitude of engaging experiences.

PRIMARY WORK ACTIVITIES:

• Operate a school bus on a regular schedule or on special occasions
• Informs children about safety practices
• Maintains orderly conduct of children on bus
• Maintains records of mileage, routes, times and incidents
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Superintendent of Schools.

Job Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum “CDL B” license with “PS” endorsement and air brakes
• Must meet all DMV requirements for School Bus Driver
• Must satisfy the requirements for School Bus Driver set forth by the DMV and the Rules and Regulations of the NYS Commissioner of Education
