The Glens Falls School District is accepting applications for an anticipated probationary Grade 4 teacher effective 9/1/26.

Successful candidate responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction aligned with district curriculum and state learning standards.
• Develop lessons that are rigorous, engaging, and differentiated to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Implement effective instructional practices that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and student ownership of learning.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and measure mastery of essential learning standards.
• Work collaboratively with grade-level teams, special education staff, interventionists, and administrators to plan instruction and support student success.
• Contribute to a positive and professional school culture focused on continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements: Valid NYS Childhood Education (Grades 1–6)
