Job Description

• The Glens Falls City School District is seeking interested applicants for a Social Worker position at Kensington Elementary School for a 10-month LOA (Leave of Absence). Duties will include, but not limited to, supporting the academic, social and emotional well-being of students by providing direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and collaboration with staff, families and community agencies. The Social Worker will advocate for students' needs, support a positive school climate, and promote equity and access to resources that enhance student success.

Job Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a New York State Certification as a School Social Worker AND hold Professional Licesure as LMSW or LCSW.
