Job Description

The Glens Falls School District has an anticipated opening for a full-time (10 Month) Teacher Aide Position. The posted salary range represents the District’s good-faith estimate of the anticipated hiring range at the time of posting. Final salary will be based on factors including experience, education, qualifications, internal equity, and applicable contractual provisions. 
Full consideration will be given to applications received by the application deadline.

Job Overview/Responsibilities:

• Assisting with activities, supervising students, and maintaining the classroom and other areas.
• Assisting in developing good health standards and appropriate social habits.
• Filling in for other staff if needed.

Personal Qualities:

• Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and competing demands.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a calm and respectful manner.
• Maintaining a positive, encouraging attitude to motivate others.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Graduation from High School and or possession of a High School equivalency diploma
• Knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are involved.
