The Glens Falls City School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Elementary Principal for Kensington Road Elementary School. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong instructional leadership; expertise in curriculum, assessment, and data-driven decision-making; and a commitment to supporting the whole child through academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and attendance systems of support. The ideal candidate will foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging school environment grounded in the district’s core values of Character, Excellence, and Community.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to build staff capacity through collaboration, supervision, coaching, and professional development; cultivate strong partnerships with families and the community; oversee the day-to-day operations of the building; manage resources effectively; and ensure compliance with Board policy, district initiatives, and all applicable laws and regulations.
