The Glens Falls City School District is a dynamic and inclusive school community focused on the success of all students by fostering diverse pathways, and providing a multitude of engaging experiences.  Our district is seeking interested applicants for a full-time 1.0 probationary tenure track Social Studies teacher at the High School for 2025-2026 academic year. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and innovative lesson plans that align with NYS State standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students;

• Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported;

• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds;

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well-being;

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills; and 

• Perform other duties as required by the Building Principal and/or Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum
