At Glens Falls City School District, our school cleaners play a vital role in shaping our reputation and community pride. If you're punctual, reliable, and trustworthy, join the GF Nation team as a second-shift cleaner (3:00-11:30pm) at the Middle School and High School. 

A school cleaner's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for students and staff. Duties may include: 

• Cleaning: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting in classrooms, offices, locker rooms, restrooms, and gymnasium
• Spot cleaning: Addressing spills and other unexpected cleaning needs 
• Sanitizing: Cleaning bathrooms and other public areas 
• Maintaining supplies: Checking stock levels and replenishing toiletries 
• Reporting issues: Notifying the supervisor or caretaker of any hazards or defects 
• Working with others: Collaborating with teachers and other staff to address maintenance issues 
• Following procedures: Adhering to the school's cleaning schedule and safety requirements 
• Training: Participating in training sessions as needed 
• Promoting safety: Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
